Job Description

We are looking for a service-oriented GIS Engineer who wants to be part of our continued development of the municipality's work with geographic information. The GIS department produces and maintains databases, map services, tools, and applications requested by all municipal operations, both within administrations and companies. We use ESRI Enterprise as our GIS platform.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education in GIS, geography, system development with GIS experience, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience with GIS software, such as ArcGIS Pro, and management of geographic databases.

Experience with the ESRI Enterprise GIS platform, including the portal and application builder Experience Builder, as well as the desktop software ArcGIS Pro, is meritorious. Experience with the tool FME and the scripting languages Arcade and Python is also considered an advantage.

Our workplace, "Stadsporten," is located in the center of Piteå, directly adjacent to the bus station. Work here is activity-based with the possibility of remote work.
