About Us

Specialfastigheter owns, develops, and manages secure facilities. Our property portfolio includes, among other things, correctional facilities, youth homes, court buildings, and police facilities. Several of our clients operate businesses that are significant to our country's security, which places specific demands on both the premises and us. The properties are located in nearly 60 municipalities, from Trelleborg in the south to Haparanda in the north, and that is also where our approximately 320 employees are based. We are growing rapidly, and our project portfolio of over 29 billion SEK means more exciting projects than ever before. We are therefore looking for more curious and driven individuals who want to be part of our journey. Welcome to us!

About the Role

As a Technical Property Manager, you work with the planning, implementation, and follow-up of our maintenance work. The role includes leading smaller projects, such as maintenance measures and customer adaptations. A clear focus is placed on continuous development, where you, as a Technical Property Manager, continuously seek out and investigate new technical possibilities. You collaborate closely with the team and support them with technical issues.

Your primary area of responsibility is our properties in Northern Norrland. You are based in Luleå but belong to the team in the Norrland Property Area, which is responsible for our properties throughout Norrland.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a specifier and purchaser for projects and maintenance works.
  • Conducting maintenance inspections and customer adaptations, leading maintenance measures, and contributing to budget work.
  • Conducting investigations to identify the technical systems and products that are critical for efficient management.
  • Ensuring that necessary maintenance is carried out on time and in the best possible way from a customer perspective.

We are constantly working to improve our working methods and routines within property maintenance. All of this is done in close collaboration with our customers and our internal and external project managers.

About You

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education with a focus on property or construction technology, or who have experience in similar tasks. We would like you to have several years of professional experience in property technology.

To be successful in the role, you have:

  • Good overall technical competence and a genuine interest in working with energy optimization and sustainability issues.
  • Experience with procurement and purchaser competence.
  • Experience with installation coordination and project management.
  • Experience working with property-specific software.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Experience with energy optimization, sustainability issues, and Sunda Hus (Healthy Buildings) is an advantage.

We place great importance on your personal qualities, your commitment, and your drive. You enjoy challenges and collaboration with teams and colleagues. You are analytical and structured, and you have a holistic mindset, see the big picture, and thrive in a role with significant responsibility. You feel confident in your competence and enjoy sharing it with others.

Location

The property area covers all of Norrland, but your place of work will be in Luleå, and travel is included in the role, specifically to our properties in Northern Norrland.

Application & Other Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting as agreed. The last day for applications is 2026-08-09. We look forward to receiving your application!

The Recruitment Process

We begin the selection process after the application period has ended. Thereafter, we contact relevant candidates to schedule interviews. Prior to a potential employment, we conduct a specific security assessment where we perform a security interview and review final judgments from Swedish courts. Before employment, we also conduct alcohol and drug tests through our occupational health service. In addition, some of our clients sometimes require placement in a security classification and subsequent register checks in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585 Chapter 3).
