Do you want to do your internship at an architecture studio with a strong team spirit, care for architectural quality, and a broad range of assignments? Sweco Architects in Luleå is looking for an architecture intern starting after the summer of 2026.

Your future role

Our studio has a breadth of competencies ranging from architecture and planning to landscape and interior design. Our culture is characterized by curiosity, creativity, and close collaboration, where we become better as we explore solutions together. We are locally rooted in Luleå but are also part of Sweco Sweden, which means access to a large cross-disciplinary resource pool. Specialists in areas such as construction, acoustics, sustainability, and lighting design are readily available.

As an intern at Sweco Architects in Luleå, you will become part of our daily routine and the studio's collaborative work. The content of the internship is shaped based on current projects, the studio's needs, and your interests and competencies.

You will have the opportunity to follow how we work in different stages of the architectural process and participate in both creative and more analytical tasks. This can range from early idea and design discussions to working with models, drawings, visualizations, or presentations, supported by experienced colleagues.

The internship offers a glimpse into what it is like to work at an architecture studio that combines a local presence in Luleå with Sweco's broad, cross-disciplinary organization. We view the internship as a mutual learning experience where you develop while contributing new perspectives and ideas to our studio.

Start: September 2026

Scope: Full-time for 5 months with a possible extension

Who we are looking for – is it you?

We are looking for you who are studying architecture at Lund, Gothenburg, Stockholm, or Umeå University, or a corresponding program in another country, and who have completed at least two years of your education before the internship starts.

You:

• are creative with good design skills
• are structured and can organize and prioritize your work
• are communicative, good at collaborating, and egalitarian
• master Adobe programs. Basic knowledge of tools like Revit is a plus.
• master Swedish in speech and writing
