The Swedish Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Centre (FMUndSäkC) is now seeking staff assistants for the Intelligence and Security Division of the Training Unit, located in Uppsala. This offers you opportunities for a future career within the intelligence and security service of the Swedish Armed Forces.
Applicant Unit
At the Training Unit, training and development of intelligence and security services are conducted from a combat-technical to an operational level. A key part of the operations is the continuous development of own personnel within these areas. Support for the implementation of courses and training is a natural part of the operations, as is participation in exercises and development projects. Collaboration takes place with all parts of the Swedish Armed Forces as well as with other authorities.
Job Responsibilities
The main purpose of the position is to strengthen the training capability within the unit. As a staff assistant, you will facilitate the instructor's teaching. You will develop within the intelligence and security service with opportunities for a future career within the Swedish Armed Forces.
Main responsibilities:
- Staff assistant for courses within intelligence and security services
- Support for instructors' course implementation (administrative and assisting in teaching)
- Perform simpler staff tasks related to instructor support
- Technical collaboration with IT, IT security, and technical management
- Collaboration and coordination with study administration
Qualifications
- Completed military basic training
- High school diploma
- Basic knowledge of IT systems, e.g., Windows environment
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who has internal drive and is solution-oriented. You should be able to quickly adapt to new conditions on a daily basis and have strong social collaboration skills.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in operational technical systems at the Swedish Armed Forces
- Experience in basic staff work
- Experience working as a section leader

Employment type: Permanent but for a maximum of 8 years, with the possibility of extension to 12 years. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the authority.

The Swedish Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Centre, FMUndSäkC, is a center for education and development within the Swedish Armed Forces' national and international intelligence and security service. The center is joint for the armed forces and was established in 1998 when the air force and army intelligence schools, as well as the Defence Language School, were combined into the Uppsala garrison.
