You will be part of Eltel's team in Östersund but work out in the field where the projects are located. If you live closer to a current project, there is an option to work from home, providing a flexible and efficient workday.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a 6-month probation period directly with Eltel. Start date is by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As an electrician, you will work with new connections, commissioning, service, maintenance, and renovations within the local grid. You will primarily work with underground cable and overhead line installations in the voltage range of 0.4–36 kV. The role involves significant personal responsibility, and you are expected to independently plan and execute field work while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cable laying, splicing, and termination
• Installation of cable cabinets and work in network stations
• Commissioning and connection of installations
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power distribution networks
• Documentation and reporting in digital systems

We are looking for you who

• Have experience working in power distribution and feel confident performing tasks independently within the local grid.
• Experience in power distribution (underground cable and/or overhead line)
• Knowledge of ESA (Swedish Electrical Safety Authority regulations) and electrical safety regulations
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
• Good computer skills and experience with digital reporting
