Responsibilities

As a Planning Architect at Härjedalen Municipality, your main task is to work with the preparation and handling of detailed development plans to enable the municipality's continued development. You have important responsibility for the entire planning process, from early stages to the final detailed plan, and work in close dialogue with colleagues, developers, and other stakeholders. The role involves delving into planning issues, analyzing prerequisites, and producing materials that contribute to sustainable and well-balanced decisions.

We are looking for you who, together with us, can and want to drive planning projects from idea to finished plan!

Qualifications

We welcome you with education at the university or college level with a focus on physical planning, architecture with a focus on urban planning, societal planning, or several years of relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent. The role also requires that:

  • You have good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act as well as the Environmental Code.
  • You have at least a couple of years of experience in producing detailed plans in various stages and master the process around detailed plans.
  • You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing, as well as a driver's license for passenger cars (Category B).

The role involves driving planning processes from early stages to a finished detailed plan and producing well-founded planning proposals that support sustainable development.

The work involves being able to work independently and in a team, and requires that you can structure and prioritize when several planning processes are running in parallel. You need to be proactive, initiative-taking, and solution-oriented to handle complex planning issues. It is important that you have good cooperation skills both internally and externally.

Dialogue and collaboration are a natural part of the work, but the focus is on professional planning work and the production of detailed plans. This position suits you who are:

  • analytical and strategic with the ability to see connections and consequences
  • flexible and result-oriented with the ability to achieve desired results
  • communicative in both writing and image
  • stable and confident in yourself
  • responsive, service-oriented, and unpretentious with the ability to collaborate when needed

What We Offer

Härjedalen Municipality shares part of the mountains with Berg Municipality. This means, among other things, that we have a joint environmental and construction department, a joint environmental and building committee, and close cooperation regarding planning issues. The municipality's main office is located in Sveg, but we also have local offices in Funäsdalen and Hede, which means you can live and work in any chosen location. Since Härjedalen is a municipality with a large geography, much of the work is carried out using digital communication tools, which makes it possible for part of the job to be performed remotely.

We offer you an exciting and developing job where, together with other employees in the societal development administration, you continue to develop Härjedalen in a sustainable and positive way.

We also offer the opportunity for a wellness hour every week during working hours, wellness allowance, and holiday exchange.

Application

You apply via Härjedalen Municipality's recruitment page. In your application, we would like you to attach your CV, cover letter, and preferably two detailed plans or projects/examples you have worked on, along with a description of your role in the project.

Selection and invitations to interviews will take place continuously during the advertising period, so apply now!

The advertisement may be extended if necessary.

Start date is by agreement.
