About the role

Fortum has a strong focus on hydropower, and in this role, you will become part of the Norr region. As an electrical designer, you will work on projects related to both maintenance and development, contributing to high operational reliability while driving technical improvements and increased digitalization.

Responsibilities

The role involves detailed development and maintenance of electrical designs for hydropower facilities, from initial sketches to final commissioning, as well as ensuring high quality in all technical documentation.

You will:

• Work with electrical design within electrical, control, and regulation systems
• Participate in the entire project cycle, from initiation, documentation, to commissioning and final documentation
• Participate in development and improvement projects
• Ensure that Fortum's standards for electrical and control equipment, as well as documentation handling, are followed

We are looking for someone who

• Has education in electrical power and/or automation, or equivalent work experience
• Has previous work experience in electrical design and instrumentation
• Has experience designing in Elprocad with applications
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, as required in daily work
• Has a B-class driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from hydropower or work with turbine and generator facilities
• Knowledge of DOK80
