HÄRJEÅNS KRAFT AKTIEBOLAGJämtlands län, Härjedalen
Previous experience is desired
Härjeåns is a comprehensive provider of energy solutions, including electricity and fiber networks as well as electricity trading. Our operational area can be symbolized by 700 miles of power lines. We are now looking for a Preparer to join us in Sveg, who wants to contribute to the energy solutions of the future.
About the job
As a Preparer here, you work in close collaboration with colleagues in planning and are a key part of project execution during the renovation and new construction of our electricity network in voltage ranges of 0.4–45 kV. The role involves both preparation and some design work for new construction and maintenance projects.
The role includes among other things:
- Developing documentation for the renovation and new construction of local network lines and substations.
- Preparing contract documents, permits, calculations, material specifications, and work instructions.
- Providing technical advice internally and externally.
We are curious about you
We believe you thrive in a role where you can combine structure with collaboration. You are meticulous, take responsibility for your work, and have a solution-oriented approach. You appreciate working both independently and with others, and you contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. You have good social skills and put the customer first. We know that the best energy flow occurs in teams where diversity and different perspectives are encouraged, and we actively work for a culture where everyone can develop and thrive. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, interests, and experiences.
Qualifications
We prefer that you have vocational training as a Preparer or alternatively a technical education in electrical power or equivalent. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience from similar positions (e.g., distribution electrician or line worker) in the electricity industry. A Category B driver's license is required. Good computer skills are an advantage. Since the position is focused on electricity and power, experience with preparation according to EBR is meritorious.
What do we offer you?
We offer you an interesting job in a highly relevant energy sector, where we invest heavily in both competence development and a good work environment. Below are some examples of what we do to ensure you enjoy working with us:
Competence Development
Härjeåns wants to be an attractive employer where we give you the opportunity to continuously take courses and participate in various networks. Härjeåns is a member of the industry organization Energiföretagen Sverige, which offers environmental scanning, technological development, training, and conferences aimed at developing competence to meet future challenges.
Balance in Life
Time for recovery beyond regular vacation is important. We offer a 45-hour workweek reduction and 5 extra days spread throughout the year to add a little extra gold to long weekends.
Wellness
Health and movement play a central role in the benefits package we offer our group employees. Within our wellness committee, we work to find activities that promote physical movement and mental health. Examples of wellness-promoting activities include massage, step competitions, and social events. We also offer a wellness allowance to all employees.
Another benefit is our geographical location, where we live and work close to nature. If you value having the outdoors right around the corner, you will thrive here. Read more about us as an employer.
