About the Department

Do you want to work in a specialized surgical department where competence, collaboration, and commitment are at the forefront? We are now looking for more nurses for Ward 14, with the possibility of working in rotation or full-time nights.

Ward 14 specializes in lower gastroenterology, which means caring for patients with diseases in the lower gastrointestinal tract. Here, you will mainly encounter patients who have undergone surgery for colorectal cancer, but acute surgical conditions also occur. We are a knowledgeable and engaged team that strives every day to provide our patients with safe, secure, and high-quality care. We are now looking for you who want to contribute to our continued development and become part of our work community.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work with both pre- and postoperative care. In addition to usual nursing tasks, the role includes among other things:

• Clinical assessments
• Fluid balance
• Wound and stoma care
• Handling of central lines
• Medical technology equipment
• Gastric tubes
• Drainage
• Urinary catheters

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed nurse
• have a genuine interest in surgery and thrive with varied tasks - both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
• work responsibly and evidence-based, with good adherence to our routines
• are flexible, self-initiating, and have good collaboration skills
• have good communication skills in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• previous professional experience
• relevant further education
• experience in surgical care
