The Recruitment and Staffing Unit is looking for a Coordinator for a fixed-term project position of six months.

Starting July 1st, new language requirements will apply within the elderly care sector. This creates an increased need to establish conditions ensuring our employees have sufficient Swedish language skills to perform their duties in a secure, legally sound, and high-quality manner.

We are therefore looking for you who want to coordinate and implement important work regarding language testing and planning of language development initiatives within the Social Administration's elderly care services. The assignment will contribute to equal information, structured testing, and a clear basis for further planning together with education administrators, unit managers, and Adult Education.

Your responsibilities

As a Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and reporting on the work during the project period. You will play a central role in contacting unit managers, employees, and Adult Education.

The assignment includes among other things:

  • developing an overall timeline for implementation
  • informing unit managers and employees about the background, purpose, and implementation
  • scheduling and participating in APT (Annual Performance and Development Talks) or other suitable forums
  • ensuring that language testing is conducted in a secure, respectful, and structured manner
  • providing practical support to employees during testing sessions
  • documenting participation and results
  • compiling and reporting results to relevant unit managers
  • contributing to a uniform and equal working method across different operations.

The work should be carried out with clarity, respect, and integrity. Language testing should be communicated as part of the employer's responsibility for competence development, quality, and long-term operational development.

You will receive a meaningful and developmental assignment where you contribute to increased quality, security, and professionalism in the operations. Through your work, better conditions are created for employees' language development and for a more sustainable and structured approach to language and competence supply.

For the position of Coordinator for language testing and language development initiatives, the starting salary range is 30,000-35,000 SEK per month. We apply individual salary setting. The final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, as well as considering the current collective agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are secure, structured, and communicative. You have a good ability to build trust, meet people respectfully, and explain information in a clear and pedagogical way.

Experience in competence development, adult education, language development work, or work within municipal operations is meritorious.

We would like you to have:

  • experience in coordination, project work, or administrative development work
  • good ability to plan, structure, and follow up on work
  • experience in informing groups and creating participation
  • good communicative skills in Swedish, both oral and written
  • ability to handle information with confidentiality, integrity, and good judgment
  • understanding of operations within healthcare, care, or social work.

You need to be able to work independently, plan your work, and simultaneously collaborate closely with managers, operations, and adult education. Since the assignment involves meeting many employees in different operations, it is important that you are responsive, professional, and have good collaboration skills.

Selection for interviews takes place on an ongoing basis.
