Industry Specialists for Educational Roles in Automation, Robotics, Process Technology, and Maintenance

Do you have extensive experience from the industry and are driven by a desire to develop other people? On behalf of our client, Prokon, we are now looking for several technical specialists who want to help train the industry's future competence.

We are looking for you who have in-depth knowledge within automation, robotics, process technology, or maintenance and who wish to combine your technical expertise with a pedagogical assignment. The role suits both those already working in education and those who want to take the step from the industry into a more knowledge-transfer-oriented role.

About the Role

As an educator and subject matter specialist, you will contribute to the development of courses for both vocational college students and working professionals within the industry. You will conduct training, supervise projects, and participate in developing course materials and practical exercises with a clear connection to the industry's real-world needs.

Teaching takes place both digitally and on-site with educational providers and corporate clients. The scope of the assignment can be adapted to your availability and, in some cases, combined with other professional assignments.

We are looking for you who have experience in one or more of the following areas

Automation

• PLC programming, e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff, or Allen-Bradley
• HMI and SCADA systems
• Industrial networks and communication solutions
• Troubleshooting, commissioning, and control technology
• Sensors, actuators, and industrial control systems

Robotics

• Programming and commissioning of industrial robots
• Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, UR, or similar manufacturers
• Robot cells, safety systems, and simulation
• Optimization and troubleshooting in automated production environments

Process Technology

• Process control and industrial flows
• Measurement and control technology
• Operations, optimization, and quality assurance
• Documentation and improvement work within process industry

Maintenance

• Preventive, corrective, or predictive maintenance
• Operational reliability, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
• Maintenance systems and maintenance planning
• Experience with TPM, vibration technology, or thermography is advantageous

Your Profile

We believe you have a strong technical foundation combined with a willingness to share your knowledge. You are structured, communicative, and have the ability to explain complex technical relationships in a pedagogical way.

We particularly value you if you:

• Have both theoretical knowledge and practical experience from the industry
• Enjoy training, supervising, or coaching others
• Are creative and like developing new materials and new educational approaches
• Want to contribute to strengthening Sweden's future industrial competence supply

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Higher Vocational Education (YH) degree, or equivalent competence at EQF level 6 or higher
• Documented experience in one or more of the relevant technical areas

Advantageous

• Experience in teaching, education, or supervision
• Green Belt certification or higher
• Experience in improvement work or technical project management
• Knowledge within IT, hardware, and software
• Experience with Raspberry Pi or similar platforms
