Threshold Audio is a young, fast-growing company with clear ambitions: to become Sweden's leading player in the installation of audio and video systems for commercial environments. We work with high-tech products, creative solutions, and a client portfolio we are proud of — from exclusive restaurants and nightclubs to offices, event venues, and private premium projects.

We are now looking for an experienced AV Installer who wants to join our journey and become part of our tight-knit team in Stockholm.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In the role of AV Installer, you will become a key person in our projects and the one ensuring that our solutions truly come to life at the customer's site. You will work in an environment where technology, creativity, and problem-solving meet, giving you the opportunity to influence both the outcome and the customer experience. You are the one who ensures that installations meet the highest quality standards and that systems function exactly as intended.

The work is practical, varied, and full of technical challenges. You will install and commission professional audio and AV systems in everything from restaurants and nightclubs to offices, exclusive residences, and event venues. One day you might be building a music studio on a private island, the next day installing a premium system in a nightclub, and the day after hanging high up in a church with a safety harness. This is a role for you if you thrive working independently, taking responsibility, and being part of a team where everyone supports each other.

Additional responsibilities included in the role:

  • Cable pulling, termination, and equipment mounting
  • Installation of network-based AV solutions
  • Basic network configuration for AV applications
  • Configuration of DSPs, amplifiers, and system components
  • Service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing installations
  • Technical planning prior to projects
  • Handling of materials, deliveries, and logistics (inbound/outbound)
  • PA/audio engineering during events
  • On-site customer contact and ensuring a professional experience

Your Qualifications

For this role, you are required to have:

  • Experience with fixed A/V installations
  • Good understanding of professional audio systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting and service work
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Dante
  • UniFi/Ubiquiti
  • Netgear switches for A/V environments
  • Q-SYS
  • DSP programming
  • Powersoft
  • LEA Professional
  • Audio Architect
  • Control systems and modern network-based A/V platforms

The Recruitment Process

We recruit based on competence and will not request a personal cover letter. Instead, you will be asked to answer a few questions as part of your application.

The advertisement will be published until week 32, followed by a selection process in week 33, and digital first-round interviews in weeks 34-35. Further in the process, final candidates will be invited to the office to present a case.
