About the Role

As the Fresh Food Sales Manager, you are responsible for the store's fresh food departments (meat, charcuterie, fish, salad & ready meals, cheese, and cold cuts/delicatessen). You lead and develop the department both strategically and operationally, with overall responsibility for the department's results. Since our ambition is to be the best fresh food store for our customers, you are a key figure in the store's development. You ensure that we offer a fresh and exciting assortment and develop tomorrow's customer service. You are responsible for certain departments according to your own planning and are operationally present in the store, for example by picking items.

You are part of the store's management team and influence the store's current state and future. You lead, develop, and inspire your employees within the department and share responsibility for the store's self-control program.

About You

You have extensive knowledge of fresh foods and a pronounced interest in food, with the ability to convey this to both customers and employees. You are driven by developing and inspiring your team and see opportunities for how we can develop tomorrow's fresh food department. You are social, attentive to customers' needs, and thrive being visible and active among both employees and customers.

Organization, prioritization, and delegation are clear strengths you possess. You are clearly focused on the customer and sales, driven by creating good profitability, but are also meticulous and aware of the importance of good routines to achieve effective self-control of food handling.

Qualifications

• Substantial documented experience, knowledge, and education in fresh foods and customer service.
• Experience from a leadership position in the food retail industry.
• Completed BLU or FLU (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience with budget and profit/loss responsibility.

About Maxi ICA Supermarket Vetlanda

Maxi ICA Supermarket Vetlanda is located in the southern center and is one of Vetlanda's largest and most visited food stores. The store opened as early as 1994 as ICA Kvantum (Maxi) and has since 2007 been profiled and developed into today's Maxi ICA Supermarket. We currently have around 130 dedicated employees, including staff within Oskar's Bakery and the special departments.

We are a complete food and grocery store offering a wide range of products, from fresh food to specialty items like clothing, home electronics, and kitchen equipment – all under one roof. Our concept is based on offering "everything you need" at low prices, with generous opening hours and a customer-friendly environment, especially adapted for car-borne consumers.
