We are looking for a positive and experienced optical assistant with an interest in technology, color, and form!

The position is a permanent part-time role, approximately 75–80%.

We are a privately owned and independent optical shop located in the center of Tranås. We genuinely strive to offer our customers the best possible vision aids and service.

As a small optical shop, we work closely with our customers and take the time for the entire process, from eye examination to finished glasses.

In our own workshop, we grind and mount lenses into frames ourselves, often performing complex repairs that require a craftsman's touch.

If you have previous experience working in an optical workshop and can grind and mount lenses into frames, we consider this a major plus!

We require a few years of industry experience and are accustomed to varied retail work with a high sense of service.

We prefer that you have completed an assistant training program within optics.

With us, you will enjoy varied work including customer bookings, administrative record-keeping, lens centering/measurement, workshop tasks, and more.

An interest in fashion and trends is important, as is a good sense of color and form to advise and inspire customers into satisfying purchases.
