About the workplace

The LSS housing facility on Västkustvägen is beautifully located in nature in Hasslarp, right between Helsingborg and Ängelholm. With good bus connections and a bus stop just outside the facility, it is easy to get to work.

The operations follow the BoDa concept, which means that housing and day activities are planned together. Here, the staff follows the individual and works both within day activities and in the group home. The operations are aimed at people with intellectual disabilities who need support and services, where it is important that we are available at all times.

Job Description

In your role as a Support Pedagogue, you should be able to support and inspire other employees in the pedagogical development of the unit. You and your support pedagogue colleague will have the opportunity to create good conditions at the unit.

We work with individually adapted support for daily living, and the work with the tenants is guided by the individual implementation plans. We work with a focus on recovery and the individual's needs, based on evidence-based methods such as ESL, CM, and MI.

The work is planned, documented, and developed as needed. As a support pedagogue, you have an important role in ensuring the work with implementation plans as well as other documentation.

Part of the work involves having a good overview and being a support to the contact person by ensuring that established, decided, and appropriate routines are written down, followed, and updated. Together with other employees, you work to create and maintain good relationships with relatives, guardians, and other networks.

Qualifications

You who apply must have a post-secondary education comprising at least a degree from a vocational higher education program in Support Pedagogy (200 YH credits) or 60 university credits with a clear focus on the disability area and/or the psychiatric, social psychiatric area.

To succeed in the role, you need experience of working with the target group in the role of support pedagogue and you need to have knowledge of development and improvement work according to the intentions of the LSS legislation. A B driver's license is required, and you need to have basic computer skills and experience with documentation.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of working with low-affective handling, ESL, CM, and MI.
