RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Pedagogue (40%)

As an IT Pedagogue, you lead and develop the administration's work with digitalization in education, with the goal of strengthening the quality of teaching, developing assistive technology in instruction, and creating modern, efficient working methods.

You work both strategically and operationally to put the IT strategy into practice, drive development initiatives, and support managers and educators in digital development.

The assignment includes:

• Driving and following up on the administration's IT strategy with the school year's prioritized area
• Coordinating and developing the use of assistive technology
• Planning and coordinating competence development and digital initiatives
• Leading the implementation of tools and working methods, e.g., AI, Jamf, and LanSchool
• Developing structures in digital learning environments (e.g., Teams)
• Supporting work with digital documentation and information security
• Purchasing planning for digital devices
• Scanning the external environment and leading primarily principals, but sometimes also employees, in digital development
• Collaborating with the IT department, schools, and external networks

Mathematics and Science Teaching Responsibilities (60%)

As a Mathematics and Science teacher with us, you play a central role in developing students' understanding of mathematical and scientific relationships through engaging and challenging teaching. You create a dynamic learning environment where problem-solving, investigative working methods, and hands-on moments make the subjects alive and relevant for students.

Through varied working methods, clear structure, and the use of digital tools, you stimulate students' curiosity and develop their analytical and critical thinking. You adapt teaching to students' different needs and work actively to ensure all students are given the opportunity to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development.

You become part of an engaged collegium where collaboration, collegial learning, and subject and lesson development are in focus. Through formative assessment, structured teaching, and modern pedagogical methods, you contribute to strengthening students' self-confidence and their ability to solve problems and draw conclusions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Mathematics and Science for grades 7-9, with experience teaching at the lower secondary level. You have good subject knowledge, a strong pedagogical drive, and the ability to engage and challenge students at different levels.

Eligibility in several Science subjects (biology, physics, and/or chemistry) is meritorious. Experience in lesson design, differentiated teaching, and the use of digital learning tools is seen as an advantage.

For the IT Pedagogue role, we are looking for you who:

• Have very good digital competence and interest in school development
• Have understanding of and experience with special needs pedagogy
• Can work both strategically and operationally
• Have the ability to lead, inspire, and create engagement among colleagues
• Have interest in or experience with AI and digital learning processes

Lead Teacher (First Teacher)

There is an opportunity for a Lead Teacher position for those who meet the requirements. In the role of Lead Teacher, you have a special responsibility to, together with school leadership, develop teaching based on scientific grounds and proven experience, with a focus on increased goal fulfillment. You lead collegial learning and contribute actively to the school's systematic quality work.

Requirements for the Lead Teacher role:

• Teacher certification in Mathematics for grades 7-9
• At least four years of documented professional experience
• Documented good teaching results
• Experience in leading collegial development
• Particular professional skill
