The Authority Function is a consolidated unit responsible for investigating and deciding on measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons (LSS). The Authority Function consists of about sixty employees working in pleasant premises near Lund Central Station. Job Description

Are you a trained social worker, enjoy working with people, and have a sense of responsibility? Then this might be a mission for you! We are looking for you who want to work as an LSS/SoL case worker at the unit for persons with disabilities within the Authority Function. As a case worker, you work to ensure legal certainty and participation according to the investigation method IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center). You are responsible for the investigation, assessment, decision, and follow-up of support according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons (LSS), as well as ordering services from providers/executors. Your duties also include participating in method development and the development of routines, as well as collaborating with other authorities and organizations.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work or social care according to the previously applicable study plan.

For the position, it is required that you have knowledge of the application of current legislation as well as experience in case handling according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons (LSS).

Your ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, is good. You also have good organizational skills as well as knowledge in administration and documentation. Your ability to collaborate is high; you are receptive and contributory.

We use the documentation system LifeCare and would appreciate it if you have experience with this system. A B-driver's license is meritorious.
