Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented assistance company with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our head office is located in Karlshamn, and we operate throughout southern Sweden. We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 7-year-old girl in Hörvik. The position is a maternity leave replacement with an immediate start. You will work concentrated shifts of 12 hours over 7 days every other week (uneven calendar weeks). Day and night shifts are staffed with double personnel. You will work in the girl's home with the family.

We are primarily looking for you if you are a nurse assistant, childcare worker, or have other experience with disabilities. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and individual qualities, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience.

As a person, you must be responsible, sensitive, meticulous, easygoing, able to be yourself, and above all, have great patience. You must be calm and secure, and retain a childlike spirit. As a personal assistant in the family, you must be family-oriented and approachable, as there are siblings in the household. There are also pets in the family. The job involves helping the girl with everything in her daily life, i.e., full care with significant responsibility, but also lots of play and fun. You must be completely non-smoking.

The nature of the work requires that you are fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, being able to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents, as well as follow established routines.

A driver's license is required as there is a minibus that you, as an assistant, will drive.
