About the Role

We are now looking for an engaged and driven Sales Manager for Delicatessen who wants to take overall responsibility for our delicatessen department. Here you will become a key person in creating an inspiring customer experience, developing the team, and driving the department forward with a focus on quality, sales, and profitability.

The department includes manual counters for fish, meat, charcuterie, and cheese, as well as own production of meal boxes, ready-made meals, and catering. You work closely with the Sales Director and lead the daily work for a team of approximately 15 employees.

The role combines operational work in the business with planning, follow-up, and leadership. You are present in the operations while working on developing the assortment, routines, and working methods to ensure a well-functioning and profitable department.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the daily operations and development of the delicatessen department. The role involves leading and coaching employees, planning the work in the department, and ensuring high quality in food handling, production, and customer service.

You work actively with sales, campaigns, assortment, and orders, as well as following up on key figures such as sales, margin, and waste. An important part of the role is also to create structure, develop working methods, and contribute to strong collaboration within the store's fresh food organization.

About You

We are looking for you who have experience from manual fresh food counters and who thrive in a leadership role where you get to combine responsibility for people, quality, and results.

You are a confident and engaged leader who finds it easy to create structure and bring others along towards common goals. At the same time, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in food, sales, and customer service.

To succeed in the role, you need to thrive in a business with a high pace and varied tasks. You are motivated by developing both employees and the business and see opportunities rather than obstacles.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience from manual fresh food counters such as meat, fish, charcuterie, cheese, or delicatessen
• Experience of team leadership or other leadership roles within retail or food business
• Good understanding of sales, customer service, and daily operations
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work in a high-paced business
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious is experience from ICA, HACCP training, training in manual fresh foods, as well as experience in catering production, key figure follow-up, and ICA systems.

• Permanent employment with an initial probationary period
• Varying working hours according to schedule
• Mainly weekdays during the day
• Work every fourth weekend is included
• Start after summer as agreed
• Salary according to agreement
