To our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for a Tactical Buyer for a project at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development opportunities.

This is initially a 12-month consultancy assignment via Unik Resurs with very good opportunities for extension.

We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application date.

Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key person in the supply chain, responsible for your own supplier base. You will work closely with suppliers, internal customers, and other functions to ensure material supply with the right quality, at the right time, and at the right cost. The work is varied and sometimes intense, requiring you to be flexible and able to reprioritize when the business demands it.

Your Tasks:

• Responsible for purchasing and material supply within your area.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive supplier development.
• Handle purchase orders, invoices, complaints, and claims against suppliers.
• Plan, lead, and facilitate supplier meetings.
• Work proactively to identify risks and prevent delivery disruptions.
• Optimize material availability based on business needs.
• Participate in decisions regarding safety stock, safety times, and lot sizing.
• Update material data in SAP and conduct analyses related to lead times and supply flows.
• Contribute to the development of working methods and more efficient processes within the purchasing area.

Your Profile

• Education in purchasing, logistics, or equivalent.
• Some years of experience in purchasing and a good understanding of supply chains.
• Structured, responsible, and meticulous.
• Driving, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Easy to create and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
• Works proactively and sees opportunities for improvements in daily work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience in purchasing in an international operation.
• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Experience in supplier development and work in complex supply chains.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
