About the role

As a Buyer within Supply Support, you have operational purchasing responsibility to ensure that planned needs are met and deliveries are made according to the organization's requirements. The role is characterized by a high focus on delivery and involves close collaboration with both internal and external contacts.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Purchasing spare parts, repairs, and services based on planned component needs
• Order placement and follow-up of deliveries
• Handling sales orders
• Obtaining quotations and cost documentation
• Flow optimization and improvement work
• Review and analysis of suppliers' cost documentation

The position is located in Malmslätt.

You are a structured and solution-oriented person who thrives in an operational role with many contacts. You have the ability to act quickly when the situation demands it, while maintaining focus on long-term goals and results.

You are accustomed to working independently, taking responsibility for your own workflow, and are driven by creating efficient deliveries. Since the role involves collaboration across several functions, it is important that you have good communication skills and are adept at building relationships.

We would appreciate it if you have an understanding of how purchasing is affected by requirements and conditions within complex supply chains, and if you thrive in a production-oriented environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience in operational purchasing.
• Relevant post-secondary education in areas such as purchasing, logistics, economics, or engineering.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

Advantageous experience

• Experience in purchasing within aircraft maintenance, defense industry, pharmaceutical industry, or other regulated operations.
• Experience working with export control.
• Experience with the business system IFS.
