We are looking for you who want to work on an as-needed basis in our social grocery stores, Matmissionen. Here, you get the opportunity to make a difference – both for people and the environment – while gaining experience from retail and social work.

About the job

As a store employee, you get a job with great variety! You help customers in the store and at the checkout, sort and price goods, stock shelves, and contribute to creating an inspiring and welcoming store. You also work together with our participants in labor market integration initiatives – you teach practical tasks in the store and support their development. This is a perfect job for you who want practical experience in both retail and social work, at times that suit you.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a social person who enjoys working at a high pace in an operation where no day is like the other. You thrive when taking initiative, but you are also a team player who gladly collaborates with colleagues to create a positive experience for our customers. We believe you have an interest in sustainability and are attracted by the opportunity to contribute to a society where more people have the chance to grow. You are confident in meeting people from different backgrounds and have an easy time creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to:

• Have experience from grocery stores, service professions, or work with people
• Have good physical fitness – the job can be mobile and may involve heavy lifting
• Have a good understanding of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have experience in food handling (meritorious)
• Have language or cultural competence (meritorious)
