We are now looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist for our client in Finspång. The assignment involves contributing to the development of the global aftermarket business through strategic marketing and effective communication.
About the role
In the role of Marketing & Communication Specialist, you will hold a key position in developing and driving the marketing strategy for the client's international aftermarket operations. You will work closely with commercial and technical functions such as the sales organization, product management, commercialization managers, and the development department to ensure that marketing activities and communication support the business goals.
The role encompasses both strategic and operational work – from long-term planning and message development to content production, digital communication, and event support. You will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in several countries, including the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany.
You will become part of a global Sales Operations team responsible for marketing, communication, product information, and sales support. The team plays a central role in strengthening the company's aftermarket business and ensuring a consistent customer experience throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for, among other things:
- Developing and driving long-term marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Managing message strategies for prioritized markets and segments
- Developing and maintaining go-to-market plans together with sales, product management, and development
- Conducting environmental scanning and benchmarking of trends and methods
- Ensuring consistent global brand communication
- Exploring and contributing to the development of digital and AI-supported working methods within marketing
- Coordinating knowledge sharing between international teams
- Producing and quality-assuring marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, videos, and customer references
- Supporting and coordinating conferences, training, and customer events
- Managing content in internal and external digital channels and ensuring approval processes
- Contributing to communication efforts related to launches, campaigns, and business initiatives
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have experience in marketing and communication in an international business and who thrive in a role where strategy and operational execution are combined.
You have:
- Relevant education in marketing, communication, economics, or equivalent
- Experience working with marketing and communication activities in professional environments
- A good understanding of digital marketing and various communication channels
- Experience of cross-functional work in international organizations
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Experience from industrial operations, B2B marketing, or technical products is meritorious.
As a person, you are business-minded, structured, and communicative. You have the ability to drive your work independently while collaborating effectively with many different stakeholders.
Other details
- Start: According to agreement.
- Assignment: 1 year with the possibility of extension.
- Remote work: Possibility of remote work a few days a week.
- Selection: Ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
