Do you want to work in an operational and business-oriented purchasing role where you contribute to ensuring deliveries in a high-performing production environment? We are now looking for an operational buyer for a long-term consulting assignment where collaboration, pace, and delivery focus are central. The Role of Operational Buyer

In this role, you are responsible for operational purchasing and ensure that the right materials and services are delivered to the business on time. You work closely with several functions and play a key role in optimizing flows and maintaining high delivery precision.

Examples of tasks:

• Purchasing spare parts, repairs, and services based on planned needs
• Order placement and follow-up of deliveries
• Handling sales orders
• Gathering cost documentation and price quotes
• Flow optimization in the supply chain
• Reviewing suppliers' cost calculations

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are solution-oriented, structured, and thrive in an environment with a high pace and significant responsibility. You have the ability to work independently while also being a team player who collaborates well with different functions.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operational purchasing
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

Merits:

• Experience from regulated industries, such as aviation, defense, or pharmaceuticals
• Knowledge of export control
• Experience with business systems, preferably IFS

Furthermore, we see that you are flexible, thrive in a production-oriented environment, and have a good understanding of how different factors affect purchasing and supply flows.

Good to know

This is a consulting assignment starting in August, planned to run until the end of June 2027. The assignment is full-time and located in Linköping (Malmslätt).
