Skrotfrag is now looking for an Administrative Yard Worker for our branch in Jönköping. Here, you will become part of a dynamic workplace that recycles with care and is in constant development.

About the role

In this role, you will be the face of the branch at the cash desk/reception, where you will greet customers coming to scrap their cars or sell their scrap metal. The work involves great variety, including order processing, customer support, and weighing materials. You are responsible for all inbound and outbound deliveries. The duties also include working on the scrap yard, where you will classify, sort, load, unload scrap metal, and sanitize vehicles.

Your main responsibilities

Customer reception: Receive customers coming to scrap their cars or sell their scrap metal.

Machine operation: Operate wheel loaders, excavators with shears/grapples, and other common machinery for sorting and handling scrap.

Yard work: Classify and sort materials, as well as sanitize vehicles.

Your profile

We are looking for someone currently working in industry, logistics, or recycling. If you are a person who is not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed, are unpretentious, positive, and have a strong sense of responsibility and service, you are the one we are looking for.

Requirements: Minimum of a high school diploma, valid B-driver's license, operator's license for wheel loaders and/or forklift certificate.

Competencies: Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as familiarity with the Office package and experience in administrative work.

Merits: Education in environment/logistics or experience in metal recycling.
