Bergaskolan is a school with approximately 330 students from preschool class (F-class) up to year 6, centrally located in Kungsängen. The school is environmentally certified, and our philosophy of nature and health permeates our operations. Here, students have increased opportunities for daily physical activity and knowledge about a healthy lifestyle. In this way, we aim to provide them with better conditions for learning.

Job Description

We are now looking for a certified craft teacher who wants to make a difference and work to ensure our students reach their full potential. The position includes teaching craft with a focus on wood and metal for years 3–6 as well as nature school for years 1 and 2. Here, we work with common approaches and collaborate with each other to create a safe environment for all our students.

The position is 75%, but there is also an opportunity to teach other subjects such as visual arts to increase the percentage of the position.

We are looking for you who have:

• Teacher certification with eligibility in craft.
• Documented experience working as a teacher.
• An ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Are a confident leader who adapts the learning environment based on students' needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability and would appreciate it if you are flexible, clear, relationship-building, and structured.

Experience working in a multicultural school environment is an advantage.

About the Position
