Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Want to work for a young man in his 20s living in Vagnhärad
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Have experience in similar work
• Hold a valid B driving license
• Are a non-smoker
• Have good physical fitness
• Are a competent swimmer

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience communicating using alternative communication methods
• Share the client's interests in sports, cinema, and other events
• Are calm, confident, and have a sense of humor

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on an as-needed basis during daytime hours, 08:00–17:00.

Opportunities for additional work during the summer are available and will be arranged by agreement.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other allowances are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date by agreement.

Working at Humana
