I am a happy and social 27-year-old woman who, due to epilepsy and an intellectual disability with autistic traits, need support in my daily life. As my assistant, you will become an important part of my life and help me create a secure, active, and meaningful existence.

Who are you:

I am looking for someone who is patient, perceptive, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to how my days look. You need to be creative and enjoy building good relationships. I communicate using speech, as well as support from signs and pictures.

It is important that you are flexible and enjoy being involved in my daily life, regardless of where I am. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you had an interest in joining trips, camps, and other activities when they occur.

The work is varied and includes everything from everyday activities to trips, camps, and new experiences. Qualifications that are an advantage:

• Experience or knowledge in low-affective handling (low-arousal approach).

• Knowledge about epilepsy and management of epileptic seizures.

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

• Experience in personal assistance or other care work is an advantage.

• Driver's license and car.

About the position:

• Scope: Part-time 50% to start, with good opportunities to expand to full-time (100%).

• Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend shifts (every other weekend) on a rolling schedule.

• Dual assistance: You work together with a colleague during your shifts, which creates security and good conditions for the work.

• Workplace: The work is based at my home, but may also involve joining camps, trips, and other activities.

Salary: The hourly wage is fixed according to agreement, and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Week 29. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. The position runs as long as the assistance assignment lasts.
