About Us

We are a specialist resource within Region Sörmland, based on specialized knowledge regarding permanent disabilities and their consequences in daily life. Our mission is to investigate and provide habilitation interventions for children, young people, and adults with permanent disabilities such as mobility impairments, multiple disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. We work from a unified clinic in interdisciplinary teams divided into pediatric, adolescent, and adult teams, with the patient at the center. We offer you a fun, stimulating, and developing work environment, both individually and within a team. This position is permanent at the clinic, starting in the pediatric team. Together with the rest of the team, you work to give the patient the best conditions for living an active and independent life.

The work requires you to be flexible and creative. We provide interventions individually and in groups, both at our clinic and in the individual's daily environments. Much of the work is carried out together with the patient's network. We work from a behavioral medicine perspective based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We meet regularly at county-wide professional meetings to discuss and collaborate on profession-specific issues. Within our operations, there is a constant development process where all employees are involved.

Your Responsibilities

The work includes providing advice and counseling support to the patient, relatives, and others in the patient's network, as well as providing information about other societal services. You work with conversations (individual or group), education, coordination, information, and guidance. The work also involves close collaboration with other relevant authorities in society and within the region, such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and psychiatry.

Your Competence

For this position, it is a requirement that you are a Licensed Health and Social Care Counselor.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities such as commitment, creativity, and the ability to work together in a team, as well as collaborating with other actors. Since you will be an important cog in the interdisciplinary team, it is important that you enjoy working with others and believe that the best results are achieved together.

Employment Type
