Description

Adult education in Perstorp is a small school that today offers municipal adult education in Swedish for immigrants, basic and upper secondary courses, as well as vocational training within care and assistance. Here, we value having a calm and secure environment where everyone can thrive. We have faith in every student's ability to develop. We work to ensure that every student reaches their goals and receives the support needed to move on to studies or work.

For the past academic year, we have also included the upper secondary school's introduction programs, IMA and IMS, in our operations.

We are now looking for a special needs teacher/special educator for the IM program.

Responsibilities

As a special needs teacher/special educator, you must have the competence to teach, supervise, investigate, compensate for, and develop work regarding IM students.

You should actively participate in the daily preventive and supportive work regarding students in need of special support.

You should have good leadership qualities and be able to supervise and act as a consultant in pedagogical matters for colleagues, guardians, management, and other relevant parties.

As a special needs teacher/special educator, you will conduct pedagogical investigations and analyze difficulties at the school, group, and individual levels in collaboration with relevant staff. You will design and participate in the work of implementing action plans in cooperation with relevant actors and be an important part of the student health team.

Qualifications

Licensed special needs teacher/special educator.

Experience working with the introduction program or equivalent is meritorious.

As a person, you have a good attitude and can collaborate professionally with others. You are positive, structured, responsible, independent, and seek new solutions to realize every student's potential.
