We now have the opportunity to expand our operations with a preventive social worker. We are looking for an engaged and driven social worker with a focus on preventive work within financial assistance and the adult support unit. The role involves working early in processes to counter homelessness, long-term need for financial support, and strengthen individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency.
Social workers on the units work with financial assistance and estate administration, harmful use and addiction, violence in close relationships/honor-related violence and oppression, crime, and homelessness. Within the adult support unit, there are housing pedagogues, alcohol and drug therapists, counselors, and budget and debt advisors.

Responsibilities
With the new Social Services Act's focus on early and preventive measures as a starting point, you work as a preventive social worker proactively and outreach-oriented to counteract homelessness, prevent long-term need for financial support, and strengthen individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency. You collaborate closely with both internal and external actors to identify risks early and contribute to sustainable solutions.
In the role, you are responsible for developing and driving the eviction-prevention work. You provide support, guidance, and motivational interventions aimed at strengthening the individual's independence. This may also involve investigations in the form of authority functions. The work is carried out in close cooperation with landlords, the Swedish Public Employment Service, the region, and budget and debt counseling, as well as other relevant actors.
You are also responsible for carrying out information campaigns and providing advice to cooperation partners, and you actively contribute to the development of new working methods in line with the Social Services Act's increased focus on early and preventive measures. The content of the position may develop and change over time based on the needs of the operation.
Qualifications and Merits
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another academic degree that the employer considers equivalent. You have a B-driver's license for manual transmission, good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and good IT skills with the ability to work in different computer systems.
You have competence within the field of individual and family care with a focus on adult support as well as financial assistance. You have experience of work based on relevant legislation, such as SoL (Social Services Act) and OSL (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). It is meritorious if you are trained in MI (Motivational Interviewing) and have experience of work with co-morbidity, eviction-preventive measures, and crime prevention work.

As a person, you are proactive and have the ability to drive the work forward by finding new solutions and putting ideas into practice. You work systematically by planning, organizing, and prioritizing effectively, as well as creating sustainable working methods.
You are relationship-building, thrive in an outward-facing role, and have an easy time building and maintaining professional networks. At the same time, you are creative and contribute with new perspectives and working methods that can be translated into concrete results in the operation.
