About the Job

We are currently seeking a preschool teacher for one of our departments for children aged 1–3 years. As a preschool teacher with us, we want you to offer our children education that is based on their interests, planned according to the intentions of the curriculum, and grounded in scientific research.
At Innovita School, we work with development and learning for every future. A learning process that stems from the children's curiosity and our guiding documents. Our teaching is therefore characterized by a high belief in both our own and the children's abilities, direct participation from everyone, and a great deal of joy and engagement.
Our preschool is located at three addresses near Gustaf Adolfs Park on Östermalm, close to forests, parks, and many of the city's museums. We are divided into nine departments. In our groups for 1–2-year-olds, three educators work with 14 children, and in our groups for 3–5-year-olds, three educators work with 19 children. In addition to our preschool, we are also a primary school (grades F–6). The integration of our preschool with the primary school is an asset that enables broad collegial exchange and work on our children's learning. It also means that in our professional development and staff rooms, we have a mix of different professional groups who meet, share experiences, and find ways to collaborate.
Being part of our preschool means being part of an open, creative work climate together with colleagues who have the children's learning and development as their driving force and focus. A workplace where we systematically work with the children's learning in our teaching, where the children's questions and curiosity lead us forward, and where we as leaders are co-researching educators who relate to our children with listening and curiosity.
We are looking for you who want to be part of a team where you contribute, lead, and develop education collegially. We seek someone who, like us, believes that it is in reflection that we drive our work forward. We want you, just like us, to enjoy working through change as it enables participation, and that you, together with us, want to be part of our ongoing development and learning processes.
We also want you to see your role as a co-researching educator and that you, together with children and colleagues, build a project every school year. Therefore, you need to be well-versed in working systematically with pedagogical documentation.

We wish for you to be able to start the position from August. We are looking for a full-time position.
