The operations of the Culture and Education Administration include upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, youth clubs, arts school, cultural houses, libraries, museums, art halls, tourism, event activities, facilities, Nolhaga Ice Rink, Nolhaga Farm, Nolhaga Park Bath, as well as support for associations. Approximately 420 employees work within the entire administration.

Alströmergymnasiet in Alingsås Municipality is an upper secondary school with approximately 1,250 students distributed across 11 national programs, adapted upper secondary school, and introductory programs, which also include language classes for newly arrived students. The educational activities are divided into seven sectors, each headed by a principal, and together we are just over 220 employees.

Job Responsibilities

At Alströmergymnasiet in Alingsås, there is an active effort to continuously improve teaching, where scientific rigor and proven experience should permeate our operations to create the highest quality learning environment for our students. In your role, you will contribute to further deepening the pedagogical work of bringing the school into the future. You are responsible for planning, leading, implementing, and evaluating your teaching. You will also work on improvements and development in line with current research and systematic quality work. As a Swedish teacher, you have a key function in creating a good learning environment. You will work in a future-oriented organization where the needs in your area require leadership that can meet rapid changes.

Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a secure and stimulating work environment where both students and adults thrive and have the opportunity to develop. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are:

• A certified teacher with the eligibility to teach Swedish at the upper secondary level

It is considered an advantage if you have didactic competence in teaching students where they are in their knowledge development.

We are looking for you who are flexible and have an easy time adapting to changed conditions. You have good cooperation skills, build positive relationships, and contribute to good collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians. With your pedagogical insight, you understand people's different prerequisites and adapt your working style and communication to the recipient.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
