About Kunskapskällan

The Education Department is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school centers, preschool class, comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, COMVUX (special education for adults), Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), youth clubs, open preschool, and music school.

Kunskapskällan is the municipality's only upper secondary school, operated by the municipality. The school has approximately 200 students distributed across twelve different programs. The school is characterized by good relationships – both between students and staff, but also in collaboration with local businesses. Our goal is for all students to experience their time at upper secondary school as a wonderful and developmental period in life. We are responsible for providing students with the best prerequisites for further education, future careers, and for living a good life!

Job Responsibilities

1 position(s).

You will primarily be responsible for teaching on the Restaurant and Food program. The work takes place in close dialogue and collaboration with the existing RL teacher, where you will complement each other within the different competence areas. Examples of courses you will teach include cooking and serving.

The work includes planning, implementation, follow-up, evaluation, and development of the teaching, as well as the workplace-based learning (APL) which is an important part of the learning process.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have good knowledge within food and nutrition science. If you have a teaching license, it is meritorious, but we also welcome those with a strong professional background who wish to work as teachers.

You are a confident pedagogical leader who creates trusting and respectful relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and industry representatives. You have the ability to see different perspectives and adapt your working methods based on the students' needs. As a person, you are creative, proactive, and development-oriented, and you are happy to contribute new ideas and solutions. You work independently, take responsibility for your assignment, and enjoy collaborating with others to develop the operations.
