We serve children and young people aged zero to seventeen with permanent disabilities and their patients' families. The children and young people may have mobility impairments, autism spectrum disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities. Our operations are based on a cross-professional, child- and family-centered approach, meaning the family is involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions. Our working method is person-centered and rests on the values of equal worth for all people, the inherent strength of all people, everyone's right to integrity and self-determination, and all children's right to express their views.

Job Responsibilities

We welcome you, as a psychologist, to our clinic! Here you are offered a broad and varied position where you provide psychological support, counseling, and treatment to children, young people, and relatives regarding the disability and its consequences. We value collaboration and good cohesion and see your contribution to the team as valuable for our joint work.

As a psychologist, you are responsible for conducting psychological assessments and providing interventions both individually and in groups. Furthermore, you are expected to participate in educational/group interventions for the young person themselves, parents, and other networks. You plan interventions together with children, young people, families, habilitation teams, and other networks such as schools, child and adolescent psychiatry, social services, and more. Interventions are provided via video, phone, and physical visits. Travel within the job may occur.

Working hours are during the day, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 08:00-16:30, Tuesdays from 08:00-18:30, and Fridays from 08:00-14:30, with the possibility of flexible hours.

The Habilitation in Skåne is an operation that is keen on staff development opportunities. Therefore, there is an opportunity to apply for unit-, operation-, and administration-wide assignments. As a new employee with us, you are offered an induction program adapted to needs and profession.

Qualifications

You who apply are a licensed psychologist with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. In addition, you have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We consider it meritorious if you have experience working with children and young people with disabilities, habilitation work, and/or child psychiatric operations. It is also advantageous to have a valid B-driver's license and good knowledge of intellectual disability, mobility impairment, autism, and/or psycho-pedagogical work.

This is a position for you who enjoy collaborating in a team together with colleagues within both your own and other professions. In your work, you are structured and self-initiating with a good ability to initiate contact and build trust with children and young people. It is important to you that children and young people are heard and that their views are taken into account. You adapt easily to changing circumstances in your work and see opportunities in changes. We are keen on finding the right person for the position and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.
