Hörröds Gård is currently in an exciting expansion phase with the construction of a new dairy barn. Five new Lely A5 milking robots will be put into operation during the summer of 2026. The farm currently employs approximately 10 staff members working with dairy production, milking, and crop cultivation.
We are now looking for an animal caretaker for our dairy production. Previous experience in dairy farming is preferred. The role involves working in both the cow barn and the calf barn, covering all standard animal husbandry tasks. Light administrative duties are also part of the job.
You thrive in a team environment but are also capable of working independently. The work is practical and physical, requiring attention to detail and a genuine concern for animal welfare.
We are looking for someone with a good eye for animals, who is responsible, meticulous, and reliable, with a strong interest in agriculture and dairy production.
Requirements: A valid driver's license and proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken.
Preferred: Education in natural resources/agriculture (e.g., agricultural high school).
Employment terms: Daytime hours with work every third weekend. Full-time position or as agreed. Permanent employment with a three-month probation period.
