Are you looking for stimulating specialist-level work with a focus on teamwork, where you as a physiotherapist have a defined role? We are now welcoming a licensed physiotherapist to the Neurology Care Unit in Malmö, belonging to the Business Area (VO) for Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Memory Diseases, and Geriatrics (NRMG).
VO NRMG consists of both inpatient and outpatient care in Malmö, Lund, and Höör/Orup. In rehabilitation, the foundation is laid for the patient to function optimally despite their injury or illness, achieving good quality of life regarding work, family, and leisure. The rehabilitation process is based on the WHO's "International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health" (ICF).
The rehabilitation staff within the neurology area work in multidisciplinary teams with the patient at the center. We work with a focus on quality and integrating proven experience as well as evidence-based knowledge to achieve good and equitable care.

Job Description
As a physiotherapist with us, you will primarily work with assessment, investigation, treatment, and initial rehabilitation of patients with diseases and injuries of the brain and nervous system, as well as transferring information to other parts of the care chain. The most common diagnoses treated are stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, Parkinson's disease, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, and multiple sclerosis (MS), but also several rarer neurological diseases are treated. The unit has a mandate for nationally highly specialized care within neuromuscular diseases. The work is varied, involving both individual assessments and teamwork.
The position is a fixed-term employment with access after agreement, and until 2027-04-04, with placement within the neurologist's inpatient and/or outpatient care in Malmö.
Qualifications
You who apply are a licensed physiotherapist with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. You have relevant and updated experience in neurology and enjoy working in teams with a high pace. It is highly meritorious if you have experience of ward work and acute operations within neurology. The same applies to experience of ICF-based operations.
