BUP Danderyd 2 provides modern, specialized outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric care. We are responsible for the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions in children and young people up to 18 years old, with our primary catchment area in Täby and Österåker. The clinic is part of BUP Stockholm, which offers care on several levels – from outpatient care to inpatient care.

Our clinic is located at Vendevägen 90 in Danderyd, with good transport connections via the Roslagsbanan train as well as bus or subway to Mörby Centrum and Danderyd Hospital. Here, you will meet a varied patient group with broad psychiatric issues and varying levels of functioning. The work is carried out according to a stepped care model, where interventions are adapted to the individual's needs in accordance with BUP Stockholm's guidelines.

The staff group consists of approximately 30 employees with both broad and specialized competence, including psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. Many have long experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry. We work in a cross-professional manner in structured formats that enable collaboration, collegial support, and joint care planning. Through continuous development work, we strive to strengthen the quality of care and safeguard employees' competence, participation, and work environment.

Job Responsibilities

Child and adolescent psychiatric assessment, treatment of various psychiatric conditions, neuropsychiatric investigation, and collaboration with care partners. Work is conducted according to evidence and guidelines and adapted to the patient's needs. As a psychologist, you can also be involved in digital interventions and group therapy, such as the Unified Protocol, which we offer at our clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have a broad interest in child and adolescent psychiatry. Experience in child psychiatric work is meritorious.

Personal Qualities

You are self-reliant, stable, and have good collaboration skills. To succeed in the role, you also need to be structured and have good problem-solving skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type

The position is a full-time temporary position with the possibility of part-time work. The work takes place during daytime, Monday-Friday. The temporary contract is valid until 2009-02-27, with possible extension or permanent employment. Start date is by agreement.

BUP Danderyd 2 is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and young people aged 0 to 17 within Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we are approximately 1,200 employees who meet over 25,000 children, young people, and their families every year.

The position is filled subject to it not being needed for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
