Are you a registered nurse with an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry? Do you want to be part of a team making a difference for children and young people while enjoying a varied and developmental daytime role? BUP Danderyd 2 is now looking for an additional colleague to join our competent medical team.
BUP Danderyd 2 provides modern, specialized outpatient care for child and adolescent psychiatry. We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric conditions in children and young people up to 18 years old, primarily serving the areas of Täby and Österåker. The clinic is part of BUP Stockholm, which offers care across multiple levels – from outpatient services to inpatient care.
Our clinic is located at Vendevägen 90 in Danderyd, with good transport links via the Roslagsbanan train line, as well as bus or metro connections to Mörby Centrum and Danderyd Hospital. Here, you will meet a diverse patient group with broad psychiatric issues and varying functional levels. Work is conducted according to a stepped-care model, where interventions are tailored to individual needs in accordance with BUP Stockholm's guidelines.
The staff consists of approximately 30 employees with both broad and specialized competencies, including psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. Many have extensive experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry. We work in a cross-professional manner within structured frameworks that enable collaboration, collegial support, and joint care planning. Through continuous development work, we strive to strengthen the quality of care and safeguard employees' competence, participation, and working environment.
Job Responsibilities
As a nurse, you are responsible for coordinating and organizing medical care for patients undergoing medication treatment. You will collaborate closely with the clinic's doctors and other nurses. The main task is medical follow-up of patients on medication, as well as collaboration with care peers and some nursing care. Contact with patients takes place both during physical visits and through remote contacts.
Qualifications
You must be a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. Experience in psychiatry and planned clinic operations is an advantage.

Employment Type
The position is a permanent full-time role with the possibility of part-time work. The work is during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Start date can be immediate, upon agreement.

BUP Danderyd 2 is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and young people aged 0 to 17 in Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO), a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we are approximately 1,200 employees who meet over 25,000 children, young people, and their families every year.
The position is subject to the condition that it does not need to be filled by internal transfer, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services:
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
