Job Description

Do you want to lead the work that ensures advanced technical systems function – throughout their entire lifecycle?

We are now continuing to establish Sigma Technology Engineering in Östergötland.

We are building a business area focused on qualified roles within technology, systems, and lifecycle management – and we are now looking for an experienced profile who wants to take a leading role in our customer projects.

This is an opportunity for you who want to combine strategic responsibility, technical understanding, and leadership – where you, in assignments together with our customers, will have a central and influential role, while also contributing to our development over time.

About the Role

You will work as an ILS Manager in assignments together with our customers, where you take responsibility for planning, leading, and developing work related to the long-term functionality and efficiency of products and systems.

The role involves overall responsibility where you ensure that the right conditions exist for operation, maintenance, and support – from early phases to delivery and aftermarket.

Your areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading and developing ILS work in complex technical projects
  • Developing and implementing strategies for lifecycle management and maintenance
  • Ensuring that requirements related to operation, support, and availability are met
  • Driving analyses such as LSA, maintenance planning, and spare parts strategies
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams (design, production, procurement, service, etc.)
  • Working closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure the right solutions
  • Contributing to method development and working practices within ILS

You will become a central actor in the projects – with significant authority and responsibility to influence both direction and results.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for you who are confident in your competence and have previously worked with ILS, lifecycle management, or similar.

You have a good understanding of how technical systems function in a larger context – and how to create structure in complex environments.

We see that you have:

  • A university degree in engineering in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, mechanical engineering, production, or systems engineering). Alternatively, acquired equivalent competence through work experience. A Master's or Civil Engineer degree is meritorious.
  • Previous experience working within ILS/Integrated Logistics Support
  • Experience leading work or teams in a project format
  • Good knowledge within LSA, maintenance analysis, or similar areas
  • Experience from technology-intensive industries (e.g., defense, manufacturing, industry, or system development)
  • Ability to work both operationally and strategically
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We work closely with our customers, and a B-driver's license is a requirement. Since we often work within the defense industry or other critical societal functions, the positions are usually security classified and may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Personal Skills, Traits, Experience

To thrive in the role and with us as a company, we believe you are a person who likes to take responsibility, create structure, and contribute with energy and collaboration. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The role often involves many contact surfaces – and you will notice that your personality is at least as important as your technical background.

To succeed in the role, we believe you are:

  • Structured – you create clarity in complex projects
  • Business and holistic oriented – you see the connections between technology, cost, and benefit
  • Clear leadership – you bring people along and build functioning collaborations
  • Communicative – you can adapt messages to different target groups
  • Result-oriented – you drive the work forward and deliver

We consider it meritorious if you have completed military service or other relevant experience from the Swedish Armed Forces. Equivalent experience within security, preparedness, or similar areas is also seen as a plus.

What We Offer

You will become part of Sigma Technology Engineering where we combine technical competence with a strong team spirit.

As a consultant with us, you will belong to an engaged team that values community, knowledge sharing, and having fun together.

We put you, the consultant, at the center. Your well-being, your development, and your career goals are our priority.

We believe in long-term relationships and want you to thrive and grow with us for a long time. As a consultant with us, you will always have an engaged leader and colleagues, a secure employment, a flexible workplace, and the opportunity for a good work-life balance.

We warmly welcome your application!
