The Rescue Service in Arvidsjaur Municipality consists of two fire stations and a rescue corps. We are just over 50 employees, of whom 3 are full-time, 37 are part-time, and 8 are volunteer firefighters. We are now looking for a full-time Fire Inspector.

Job Responsibilities

The role of Fire Inspector includes tasks in both operational activities and preventive work. Primarily, this involves preventive work and being part of our on-call roster. It may also involve, for example, inspections and permit handling. You will be involved in developing the operations' working methods and practices, both internally and within RSR10. We offer you a job in a forward-looking operation with high goals. You will have the opportunity to work in a role that will develop both the rescue service and you personally.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least RIB training and Supervision A, as well as experience in supervisory work. You must have a driver's license, category B minimum. High administrative ability as well as good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have Rescue Leader A or B
• Have Supervision B or alternatively Preventive 1 and 2.
• Have experience as an instructor in training.

As a person, you are responsible, have good administrative skills, and are driven and proactive. You will be part of a small work group, which places high demands on good teamwork skills. The operations are very varied, which means you must be flexible and able to change your planning with short notice.

Conditions

The position is full-time and permanent, although a probationary period may apply.

The position includes on-call duties.
