Job Description

As a teacher with a special and social pedagogical focus, you work closely with students who need extra support during the school day. The role involves creating safe and accessible learning environments where students are given the conditions to succeed both academically and socially. You actively contribute to designing teaching and learning environments that support students' development based on their individual needs.

Through a relational approach, you contribute to strengthening students' sense of security, motivation, and participation in school. You work with students in class, individually, or in small groups, providing support in various situations during the school day, such as during lessons, transitions between activities, and in social contexts. A central part of the position is an extended responsibility for recess activities, where you, together with colleagues, develop activities that promote movement, community, and security.

The work takes place in close collaboration with class teachers, work teams, and student health services to create a holistic approach to students' learning, development, and well-being. A key part of the role is building trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians to create a shared vision and continuity in the student's development.

You also contribute to the school's joint development work and participate actively in systematic quality work.

Placement, grade levels, classes, and subjects may vary during the year and between different school years based on the needs of the operation. The position may include some mentoring responsibilities for students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and have a good ability to meet students based on their different needs. The work requires that you can adapt your approach to the students' daily condition and contribute to a safe and positive school environment throughout the school day. It is also important that you work from a low-affective approach and can meet students in different situations in a safe, structured, and professional manner.

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• Good collaboration and organizational skills
• Very good ability to create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• A solution-focused approach

We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Personal suitability is given great weight, and a holistic assessment of education, experience, and personal qualities will be made.
