Hållängetskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school with 226 students located in Örnsköldsvik. The school is situated in Hörnett, close to natural areas such as Hörnsjön and Veckefjärden. If you are new to the teaching profession, Örnsköldsvik Municipality offers an induction program for new teachers. During your first year, you will be assigned a mentor—an experienced teacher with the same subject qualifications—who can guide and support you.

Responsibilities

You will teach in grade 2 and hold overall responsibility for the student group. This involves managing the documentation and contacts associated with the role. Contact and cooperation with parents are an important part of the job. The assignment includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching together with a work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching degree and qualifications to teach in grades preschool–3. We seek someone who enjoys challenges and thinking outside the box, and who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a confident adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a positive atmosphere in the student group and among colleagues is second nature to you.

We would appreciate it if you have experience in leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and the skill to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are attentive, responsible, engaged, and creative.
