Brännaskolan is located in northern Härnön. The school is situated in a beautiful natural setting with easy access to forests and the sea, which are used extensively in daily activities. Within walking distance, you will find Härnösand's library, theater, Technichus, swimming hall, and outdoor facilities. The school offers activities from preschool class to grade 6, as well as four after-school care departments. The school currently has approximately 310 students and 40 staff members. The school's guiding principles, which permeate all operations, are knowledge, safety, and joy.
Job Responsibilities
You will be part of the after-school care team and will work with both grade 3 and the preschool class. You will work in accordance with the Education Act, the curriculum, and municipal goals. We highly value knowledge, safety, and joy. As a Teacher in After-School Care (Fritidshem), you are responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating activities based on the curriculum. You contribute to creating an environment aimed at strengthening our students in both their academic development and their personal growth. As a Teacher in After-School Care, you collaborate closely with the primary school's operations. During school hours, you work with grade 3, and during after-school hours, you work with the preschool class's after-school care, which also includes supervising recess.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a Teacher in After-School Care/Fritidspedagog or have another education related to pedagogy. To succeed in your role, it is important that you are communicative and have the ability to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are flexible, a good team player, responsive, and patient. You contribute to the organization's goals and to the development of the school's after-school activities. You have a structured approach to work and are able to organize and work independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A clean criminal record extract is required to work with us.
