We are now looking for a business-oriented IT Architect who wants to help create structure, direction, and long-term sustainability in our digital landscape. You will become a key person in developing our architecture, strengthening our integration capabilities, and ensuring that our digital solutions support the municipality's operations in the best possible way.

You will become part of the IT and Digitalization Department, where we work with everything from information security, AI, and Microsoft 365 to business development, system administration, and digital innovation.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of IT Architect, you work on creating structure, a holistic view, and long-term sustainability in the municipality's digital development. You act as a bridge between business operations and technology, contributing to ensuring that our investments in digitalization yield the greatest possible benefit.

You will be part of a team with high competence and great engagement, where we share knowledge and develop together.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Analyzing business needs and translating them into sustainable digital solutions.
• Participating in the implementation and development of business systems.
• Developing requirements, solution proposals, and technical decision-making materials.
• Mapping the system landscape, integrations, and information flows.
• Contributing to the development of the municipality's target architecture, principles, and standards.
• Supporting work on system ownership and system administration.
• Ensuring that new solutions work together with the existing IT environment.
• Contributing to the development of integration solutions and information exchange between systems.
• Participating in procurement and evaluation of digital solutions.
• Contributing to the municipality's work on information security, AI, and digital innovation.
• Collaborating with business units, system administrators, developers, project managers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education in IT or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer.

You are analytical, structured, and have an easy time seeing the big picture. You thrive in collaborations and have the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and pedagogical manner.

We are looking for you who have experience with:

• Business architecture, solution architecture, or information architecture.
• System implementation and business development.
• Requirements definition, analysis, and technical investigations.
• Integrations, APIs, and information flows.
• Complex system environments with many dependencies.
• Documentation and creation of decision-making materials.
• Translating business needs into sustainable digital solutions.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• The public sector or municipal operations.
• Microsoft 365, Azure, and modern cloud platforms.
• Integration platforms and API management.
• Information security and data protection.
• Data-driven development, decision support, or information models.
• AI-related initiatives or digital innovation development.
• Procurement and supplier management.
• ITIL, PM3, or similar frameworks.
