At the Social and Support Services Administration, within the Joint Authority Division, Health and Care Unit, and Administration, you will have the opportunity to work in a operation with broad scope and significant social responsibility. The division includes units responsible for the administration's authority exercises for adults, children and young people, family law, as well as interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act for Special Provisions on Care of Young Persons (LVU). This also includes work with children and young people placed according to SoL or LVU, as well as recruitment and investigation of the administration's contractors. You will work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and development are in focus.

Job Description

As an Operations Coordinator, you are part of a team supported by 5 persons who have an operationally close and operational assignment with a focus on quality, stability, and equality in daily work. The role acts as a link between development and practice, contributing to the implementation, use, and long-term maintenance of decisions, routines, methods, and working practices.

This position places special emphasis on authority exercises concerning children and young people, primarily based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act for Special Provisions on Care of Young Persons (LVU). You will contribute to strengthening legal security, quality, and common working methods in case handling and follow-up.

Main Responsibilities

You will among other things:

• Implement and manage new working methods, routines, methods, and systems
• Provide support to unit managers and employees in daily work
• Ensure quality assurance that decisions, routines, and legal requirements are followed in practice
• Contribute to equal case handling and legally secure authority exercises
• Identify needs, deviations, and development issues from the operations
• Coordinate operational processes between units
• Follow up on how working methods function in everyday life and highlight needs for further development
• Collaborate closely with development officers and managers to ensure a functioning development chain

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• At least 3 years of experience as a social secretary or another equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• Active work experience with authority exercises according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act for Special Provisions on Care of Young Persons (LVU)
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in quality work, method support, and operationally close work
• Experience in coordinated assignments, implementation of working methods, and support to managers and social secretaries within the social services' authority exercises
