The primary school/adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation comprises 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school centers (fritidshem).
Skolgårda School (grades F-9 and after-school center) is located in the historic blocks around Motala Works, close to the city center, Borenshult locks, and nature. Skolgårda has chosen to profile itself with a focus on goal achievement, safety, and well-being, and is not without reason proud of our good results! We have a high proportion of qualified staff and a collegium that stays at the workplace for a long time. This ensures good continuity for our students.

This position is a temporary substitute role and will be between 40-60% depending on the autumn organization.
The assignment involves teaching students in need of special support in grades F-6. You analyze students' need for special support in collaboration with the pedagogues and work to ensure the right intervention for the student is implemented, where each student's individual prerequisites and needs are the starting point in the work. You also support the school's employees in designing and adapting the learning environment for our students.
You have close collaboration with the school's special needs teacher/special educator with a focus on students' goal achievement. You actively participate in the school's analysis meetings based on teaching, observations, and results, and are involved in implementing special support at class, group, and individual levels. Planning and documentation responsibility for special support, teaching, tests, and results are part of the work, as well as close collaboration with the school's employees.
You will be part of a work team where collaboration and engagement are important.
Competence
We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree and certification for primary school grades 1-6 with an extension towards special educator (90 credits) with a focus on language, writing, and reading development (90 credits). You have good communicative skills to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
You have knowledge of the school's steering documents, didactic and pedagogical ability, and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a good learning environment for the students. You keep up to date with current research and are familiar with the steering documents regarding extra adjustments and special support, as well as knowledge of mapping, pedagogical investigation, and action programs.
This position requires the ability to collaborate, be receptive, and be able to drive the work forward for students in need of special support. You have a professional attitude towards students, colleagues, and guardians.
