Your responsibilities
As a teacher for grades 4–6, your starting point is to work with planning, teaching, evaluation, and values-based work based on the curriculum. In this role, you will take over your own grade 4 class, which means you are responsible for establishing the class's structure, safety, and routines from the very beginning.
The work involves meeting the student group where they are and creating varied and challenging teaching where digital tools are a natural part. You look after the student's entire school day and collaborate closely with colleagues, support staff, and guardians to create the best possible conditions for each student's learning and goal achievement. You also act as a mentor and hold development conferences.

We are looking for two positions with the following focuses: one position focused on Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies (SO), and one position focused on Swedish, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences (NO).
Your workplace
Vist School, together with Norrberga School, forms the principal area of Vist School. The schools are located in the scenic nature of Sturefors, just south of central Linköping. Vist School is a newly renovated F–6 school with approximately 340 students, and this is where you will have your starting point.
Here you are met by approximately 65 employees with strong cohesion and a large focus on collegial learning. The school area is in an exciting development phase with a focus on safety, study environment, and accessible learning environments. You who apply
First and foremost, we are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility to teach Swedish and Mathematics in grades 4-6. Secondarily, we are looking for you with a completed teacher education for grades 4-6. Alternatively, you are at the end of your education to become a teacher in grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you have eligibility to teach Social Studies (SO) or Natural Sciences (NO) in grades 4-6.
It is a requirement that you have experience of working in a curriculum-driven school through practice or as an employee. It is an advantage if you have taught in grades 4-6 for at least one school year. It is also an advantage if you have experience of grading or alternatively documenting students' learning during the school year.
In your role as a teacher in grades 4-6, you have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well acquainted with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other regulatory documents. You have good communicative skills in speech and writing in the Swedish language. This is because, according to the curriculum (Lgr22), you are to organize and carry out the work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. You are responsible for ensuring that each student can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way.
As a teacher in grades 4-6, you are a good role model. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the students and let them participate in the design of the teaching. In a quality-conscious way, you create good conditions for the student's development and learning and document this. You collaborate well with colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in society that occur in your professional role.
