About the job

The position involves working in a research project aimed at investigating children's experiences and interpretations of artificial intelligence.

About you

We are looking for someone who is engaged and curious about participating in research, as well as organized and orderly.

We require you to have:

• A Master's degree in Cognitive Science or equivalent education.
• Good proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English.

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Previous experience in research, particularly in children's interaction with information technology.
• Previous publication of research in scientific articles.

Your workplace

The Department of Science and Technology (IDA) was founded in 1983, but our roots go back to the early 1970s. It is one of the largest computer science departments in Northern Europe. Our research covers a broad spectrum of areas, from fundamental computer science to applied fields. The extensive research also influences our undergraduate and doctoral education, leading us to offer courses in several civil engineering and university engineering programs, as well as programs in innovative programming, cognitive science, and statistics. About the employment

Scope: 100% for four months.

Start date: 1 September 2026 or by agreement.
