Job Description

As a Toolmaker at Elos Medtech in Skara, you will have a broad and practical role where you work close to production and contribute to ensuring high quality in both tools and processes. You are an important part of the daily work, where problem-solving, improvement initiatives, and collaboration are central components. You will work both operationally with manufacturing and maintenance, as well as participate in developing working methods and supporting the organization with tool-related questions. Tasks and responsibilities: • Manufacturing of parts for molds • Manufacturing of fixtures • Manufacturing of peripheral equipment for robots and machines • Ongoing service on tools • Service and maintenance of machines • Actively participate in improvement work • Participate in problem-solving regarding quality and efficiency deviations • Support the organization in tool-related questions

Qualifications

We are looking for you who thrive in a practical and responsible role where you get to influence both working methods and results. You have a natural interest in technology and mechanics, enjoy understanding how things work, and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You may be a trained Toolmaker – but we also see that you may come from another background within the manufacturing industry. The important thing is that you have a good technical understanding, are accustomed to working with your hands and meeting high quality requirements, and that you contribute to a positive work environment and are open to developing in the role. Requirements: • Education as a Toolmaker or equivalent • Experience from the manufacturing industry • Good technical understanding and experience with mechanical work • Experience with metalworking in milling and turning • Structured work approach • Precise and quality-conscious • Basic computer skills • Swedish in speech and writing • Basic knowledge of English Merits: • Experience with molds, preferably within polymer/plastic • CAD/CAM skills
